About Us
One Mission is a childhood cancer foundation dedicated to enhancing the lives of pediatric cancer patients and their families. We are a tax exempt public charitable foundation that provides help, hope, care, and support to children and their families touched by pediatric cancer. One Mission funds patient and family support services, cutting-edge cancer research, and programs and services that help children and their families cope with the many physical, emotional and financial challenges associated with this disease.
All of the programs we fund directly benefit children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer, the families who support them, and the medical community who compassionately cares for them. One Mission is a Section 501(c) (3) public charity under the Internal Revenue Code. All donations made to One Mission are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Code.
Our Story
Few things are more devastating than hearing the news that your child has been diagnosed with cancer. Children and their families are thrust into a frightening situation for which they are totally unprepared. The founders of One Mission, Ashley and Ari Haseotes, understand the tremendous toll that pediatric cancer takes on patients and their families. One Mission was born out of their own family’s journey with cancer. At seven months old their son, Nicholas, was diagnosed with AML, a rare form of leukemia. They spent six months living at Children’s Hospital Boston, their lives turned upside down. Thanks to advancements in research, and the compassionate care and expert treatment their son received, today Nicholas is cancer-free. This life-changing experience inspired them to start a foundation that would make life better for children and their families living with cancer and would help put an end to this terrible disease. One Mission is based in Massachusetts and serves the needs of pediatric cancer patients and their families living in the greater New England area.
