Families who have a child with cancer are burdened by many long-term, out-of-pocket costs, including housing close to the hospital. One Mission is lifting this burden by providing a home away from home for families of children being treated for cancer in Boston-area hospitals.
*Due to COVID-19, some of our programs have had to be adapted to comply with hospital policies and safety protocols, as well as federal, state and CDC guidelines.*

One Mission Lifts One Burden Program
For over 40 years, The Boston House has offered supportive and comforting accommodations for families whose kids are being treated for cancer.
One Mission is helping by paying rent for everyone who stays at The Boston House for 2 years so families will no longer be asked to pay the per night fee.
